THE Su Cambio por El Cambio Foundation signs Act with City Hall for the use of their public spaces.
November of 2018 marked the end of the over 40-year Commodatum process that FUNDEPORTE maintained with the Illustrious Municipality of Quito.
From its beginnings, our Foundation had occupied spaces that had been granted by FUNDEPORTE. The reversion of the old Commodatum implied that the areas occupied by the Foundation would have to enter into a new restructuring and legal definition process.
Finally, on February 4, 2019, the Foundation signed a Temporary Act of Receipt and Delivery of one part of this municipal lot shared with EPMMOP and the Dirección Metropolitana de Gestión de Bienes Inmuebles (Metropolitan Board of Real Estate Administration), which establishes the final areas on which the Organization will operate as well as the legal framework that authorizes us to occupy the aforementioned lot.
Without a doubt, it is a significant achievement since, besides the largest areas destined for development of its Social Projects, the Foundation will have additional areas that will allow it to grow its infrastructure along with new project support programs with a view to the coming years.
